Los estudios y discusiones en el libro, y el foco en los principales implicados en la logística de la subcontratación a empresas externas, se pretende analizar la logística de servicios de externalización desde la perspectiva de los proveedores y sus clientes, promover las mejores prácticas, ofrecen los resultados finales de la investigación sobre la implementación de la práctica de la subcontratación, definir tendencias de la industria, y definir la externalización y sus parámetros primarios.
